Back to School!
All areas are sanitized with a hospital grade anti-microbial spray after each day of school.
Children do not nap during school hours with the exception of one year olds. One-year olds will have a nap time if requested by a parent.
For the safely and well-being of all of our MDO families, we ask that you follow our guidelines for bringing only children who're well to school.
*Please do not bring your child if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms including, but not limited to: diarrhea, vomiting, fever, chills.
*Children must be fever free for a full 24 hours before they can return to school.
*If your child exhibits any of the above symptoms we will contact you to come pick them up immediately so we can avoid exposing other children.
We ask that if your child needs medication you first administer it at home. Should an extenuating circumstance arise, you must speak to the director to sign a release for us to administer medication to your child.
*We also ask that you not keep medication in your child's bag without notifying us.
*Epipen: If your child is an Epipen user you must notify us immediately so we can properly store the Epipen. Rest at ease that all of our childcare workers are trained on how to use these, but for the safety of small children we need to know so we can store the bag separately from the others.
Snacks are provided by the MDO. Please let us know if your child has any allergies. You should pack a lunch for your child every school day.
Yes! Please feel free to bring a treat for your child's birthday. Please be sure that the treat is store-bought, and in its original container.
The first time a parent is late to pick up their child, they will be given a warning. Each time after that a late fee of $10 for every 15 minutes will be applied. If a child is consistently picked up late, further action may be required.
